I want to get some fig cuttings from you again. Which do you think would work best for Western New York? Like I said, I have a protected spot in the yard where I want to plant them.
Fred
Of the varieties I have, Green Ischia, Hardy Chicago and Sal’s Coreleone are the winter hardiest. From cuttings, you might want to grow them in a container for one year and put in the ground the following spring. Or at least keep one copy in containers so you have a back up.
Hi, After combing through your web-pages, I can’t tell what region you’re in. I’m establishing a food forest in northern San Diego County, and would like to potentially order some cuttings & scion. Can you tell me the state and region of origin of your offerings? Thanks, J. M.
I’m located in southwest Wisconsin. USDA hardiness zone 4b.
Thank you very much for your advice on the phone today, it was very insightful, and answered many questions for me. I very much appreciate your time.
Sincerely, Rick Lavash
